Ms. Joanne is our international advisor from Canada. We are very fortunate to have her as an international advisor because her guidance in managing the Moon Himalaya Adventure has helped our team a lot. Moon Himalaya Adventure is very glad to work under her expert advice to meet the goals of our company. Ms. Joanne has also trekked to Everest Base Camp (5364m) and Pikey Peak Trek (4065m). Beside her excellence in advice for Moon Himalaya Adventure, she also promotes Moon Himalaya Adventure on an international level. She is a great social worker who is helping with the education of the children.

Manisha Tamang
Ms. Manisha, the dynamic Chairman at Moon Himalaya Adventure, embodies the perfect synergy of academic prowess and hands-on expertise essential for crafting unparalleled adventure experiences in Nepal. Her foundational strength lies in a Masters of Adventure Tourism Studies (MATS) degree, a testament to her deep theoretical understanding of the industry's intricate facets. This robust academic background is seamlessly complemented by her certifications as a proficient Trekking Guide and Tour Guide, skills honed to navigate Nepal's diverse terrains and cultural landscapes.
Beyond formal qualifications, Ms. Manisha's commitment to safety and operational excellence is evident in her practical training. She possesses crucial certifications in Basic Wilderness First-aid, ensuring participant well-being in remote environments, and has completed Introductory Rock Climbing Training, vital for the adventurous activities her company offers. Her extensive professional journey, including significant stints with trekking and expedition agencies and the esteemed Nepal Mountaineering Association, provides an invaluable reservoir of real-world knowledge. This rich blend of academic insight and practical, field-tested experience makes Ms. Manisha uniquely equipped to organize and lead truly memorable and safe adventure trips across the majestic Himalayas.
- Owner Operator
Lachhuman Tamang (Lachhu)
Mr. Lachhuman Tamang is the owner operator of Moon Himalaya Adventure. He is an Internation Mountain Leader (UIMLA),an experienced and licensed mountain guide and trekking guide. Mr. Tamang has been engaged in the field of trekking and Mountaineering since 2001 A.D. He has done various trainings, including Mountain Leader course, High Mountain Rescue Training, Basic Mountaineering Training, Advance Mountaineering Training, Helicopter Marshall Training, Mountain Medicine Training- Level 1, Mountain Leader Instructor Training, Mountain Leader Assessor Training, Wilderness first Responder (WFR) and so on, to enhance his skills and knowledge in the field of trekking and mountaineering. He can speak multiple languages, including Nepali, English, French, Tibetan, and Hindi. He has knowledge about Buddhism and Himalayan heritage as well. He has carried out several expeditions to many 6000m peaks, 7000m peaks and above 8000m peaks. In addition, he has also successfully accomplished High Mountain passess trekking in Europe and guided in Tibet.
Mr. Tamang was also a member of the training committee at Nepal Mountaineering Association from 2017 to 2022. He worked as a senior instructor since 2013 and as a training co-ordinator from 2017 to 2022 at Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) for various training including Mountain Leader Course. He is a member of the Publication & Publicity committee at the Nepal Mountaineering Association and is responsible for promoting Nepal's tourism. He has traveled to different countries which include USA, Canada, Switzerland, France, Italy, Singapore, UAE (Dubai), and China (Tibet).

Nima Tamang
Nima Tamang is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc.CSIT) at Tribhuvan University in Nepal. He works as a website and content analyst at Moon Himalaya Adventure Pvt. Ltd, where he focuses on developing and managing content strategies for the company website. He also handles the technical aspects of the website, including maintenance and implementing SEO practices to improve visibility.
He is committed to analyzing market trends and creating engaging, informative content to ensure a meaningful user experience. Outside of work, he enjoys doing fitness activities, reading motivational books, and volunteering for community service initiatives.

Mr. Dorje Tamang
Mr. Dorje is a highly experienced and respected trekking leader in Nepal, boasting over 30 years in the field. His extensive expertise ensures safe and enriching journeys through the Himalayas.
Fluent in both French and English, he effectively communicates with a diverse range of international trekkers. Mr. Dorje possesses remarkable knowledge spanning several crucial areas: he is well-versed in the flora of the Himalaya region, identifying and explaining various plant life encountered on treks. His deep understanding of Buddhism provides trekkers with valuable cultural insights as they navigate sacred landscapes. Furthermore, he offers profound perspectives on Himalayan culture, enriching the overall experience by connecting visitors with local traditions and ways of life.
Beyond his professional credentials, Mr. Dorje is widely preferred by tourists due to his incredibly friendly nature. His approachable demeanor, combined with his vast experience, creates a comfortable and memorable trekking environment. Mr. Lankaram Tamang
Mr. Lankaram Tamang is an exceptionally experienced and highly accomplished climbing guide, distinguished by his summit of Mt. Everest (8848.86m), the world's highest peak. He began his impressive mountaineering career at a very young age as a porter, building a foundation that has led to an extensive record of successful ascents across the Himalayas.
His extensive mountaineering background is highlighted by multiple summits (over 30 in total) of popular trekking peaks such as Island Peak (6189m), Lobuche Peak (6119m), and Mera Peak (6476m). His expertise extends to more challenging and technical climbs, including Mt. Ama Dablam (6812m), Mt. Barun Tse (7129m), Chulu East, and Pisang Peak (6091m).
Beyond his summiting prowess, Mr. Tamang possesses significant high-altitude experience. He has served as a rescue team member on an Everest expedition and demonstrated remarkable endurance by continuously staying in South Col for six nights at an altitude of 7925m.
To ensure the highest standards of safety and professionalism, Mr. Tamang has completed extensive training, including Trekking Guide Training, Wilderness First-aid Training, Introductory Rock Climbing Training, and Rock Level-1 Training. This includes vital First-aid Training, crucial for safety in remote environments, as well as Introductory Rock Climbing Training and Rock Level-1 Training, demonstrating his commitment to diverse mountain skills.
His knowledge of Nepal's varied landscapes is exceptional, with a deep understanding of popular and challenging regions alike, such as the iconic Everest, picturesque Annapurna, and serene Langtang areas. What truly sets Ram apart is his practical experience leading expeditions on Nepal's more formidable peaks, having successfully guided ascents on several 6000m and 7000m summits.
