The founding members of Moon Himalaya Adventure are Mr. Lachhuman Tamang and Ms. Manisha Tamang. Mr. Tamang is involved in the field of trekking and climbing in Nepal since 2001. His experience also spans into trekking around the high passes of Europe, Tibet and Nepal. By participating in a wide variety of training over the course of several years, Mr. Tamang has established himself as an expert in this field. Likewise, Ms. Manisha Tamang holds a degree in Master of Adventure Tourism Studies. The perfect duo of Mr. & Ms. Tamang, one having more than a decade of experience and the other with an extensive education come together to provide the quality service in the field of adventure tourism in Nepal.
Our company, Moon Himalaya Adventure, donates a portion of our earnings to the Bomzan Social Service in Nepal. A portion of the profit from the treks and expedition are forwarded into the Bomzan Social Service Nepal. In the remote region of Solukhumbu, the organization focuses its support on orphans, underprivileged children and indigenous people. Every year, about 300 underprivileged students are provided with new school uniforms, school bags, stationery items and sports materials. The foundation aims in helping the students to motivate and inspire them in their education.
